Summary

A redesigned onboarding experience that helps new brands launch a fully branded loyalty program in minutes through a guided setup flow tailored to their goals. The flow was designed to accelerate time to value, improve onboarding engagement, and set brands up for long-term success within Marsello.


I owned the product technical implementation of the feature, collaborating closely with a UX/UI Designer and Product Manager throughout research, discovery, iteration, and delivery.

Results

  • Reduced onboarding friction and enabled brands to launch a fully configured loyalty program in a single guided session.

  • Improved first-session engagement by introducing a step-by-step setup flow and an early “value reveal” moment.

  • Enabled data-driven optimisation of the onboarding experience by capturing step-level completion, skip rates, and time spent throughout the setup flow.
